HKJC multi-touch table
First of its kind. The table combines RFID, secure transactions, digital video and multi-touch technology to provide a seamless and social betting experience for up to eight people. The 10 foot x 4 foot large-format multi-user table enables players to securely place bets and collect payouts in real-time using the club’s RFID-enabled cards. They can also view detailed stats and historical performance information on the competing horses, watch videos from past trainings, and review the odds.
4 offices, 3 continents, huge PSD's and pages of pages of wireframes, were on this. I was lucky to be part of the design team of such amazing project.
The management of the teams and the work flow between offices in San José, LA, NY, Singapore and Sidney was enormous. Incredible complex problems answered with so simple and clever wireframes and hours of hours of design phases carved - in my experience- what true hard work and a talented team can accomplish.
